03 / THE UNDER LOAD APPROACH

ONE PERSON.
ONE CONNECTED
PERFORMANCE SYSTEM.

Attention, stress response, and physical state influence one another. Training should account for those connections.

Explore each part of the system.

Mind

Attention, interpretation, decision-making, and working memory. Practice separating observations from assumptions, and checking what does not fit.

PERFORMANCE
UNDER LOAD

04 / WHY THIS MATTERS

THE STANDARD STAYS.
CAPACITY CAN CHANGE.

Pressure can affect attention, working memory, and cognitive flexibility before a person recognizes the change in their own performance. The effects vary with the person, task, and timing.

Under Load uses usable bandwidth as a practical teaching frame: what can this person or crew notice, hold in mind, communicate, and act on right now?

Keep the standard clear. Train the behaviors that help people meet it.

EXECUTIVE
LEADERSHIP LAB

SIX HOURS · TAILORED TO YOUR TEAM

See how your team functions when the time available is no longer negotiable.

A tailored, six-hour experience for senior leaders and high-performing corporate teams. Realistic, hands-on fire-service scenarios in a controlled training environment make task execution, delegation, and communication visible under pressure.

01 / EXECUTION

Work within a fixed window

Assess how the team sets priorities, assigns ownership, coordinates dependent tasks, and executes when deadlines cannot move.

02 / COMMUNICATION

Follow the information

Observe how direction travels down, concerns and updates travel up, and information moves across the team. Identify where clarity, acknowledgment, or escalation breaks down.

03 / AFTER-ACTION REVIEW

Turn the experience into change

Intensive, facilitated after-action reviews examine what happened, why it happened, and what to change. Connect observed behavior to specific communication and execution practices back at work.

Scenarios and review questions are tailored to your team’s roles, operating pressures, and development goals.

Proposed delivery in partnership with the Working Truck Company cadre. Final program and availability are subject to confirmation.
